Implementation

Implementation

Our objective is to know your business almost as well as you do. So each implementation includes representatives from our technical support team who will ensure continuity once the system has gone live. The first task of the implementation team is to not only prepare the Business Process mapping but also other key tasks including:

  • Project control – to keep the project plan under constant supervision, advise on any potential implementation issues and manage resources to keep on track with the agreed implementation date.
  • Offline review – to set up and demonstrate a demo system which has been configured to show the basic process flows which you have specified. This is another good opportunity to check that the system will perform to your expectations and, if necessary, to make further changes to your requirements.
  • Customization – MNP’s systems are designed to cater for the majority of your business processes and mainly require set up definition. However, some businesses have specific process requirements which necessitate bespoke programming and customization. You can be assured that our development methodology works within very high standards of control, quality assurance and testing.
  • Hardware validation – we conduct an independent check to ensure your hardware can accommodate the new system. Although we provide minimum specifications we like to audit the ‘mission critical’ elements such as network infrastructure, comms, and your operating systems.
  • Administration - anything from cleaning and screening customer name and address data though to helping you set up channel specific merchant accounts.
  • Integration – the management of interfaces with legacy applications such as EPOS, e-commerce, database or call centre systems.
  • Migration – our data migration expertise will help ensure a seamless changeover from any existing systems.
  • Systems testing – to develop and test the integrated system from start to finish including parameter settings and interfaces.
  • Acceptance testing – facilitate end-user evaluation of system functionality against agreed criteria.
  • Training - to discuss and agree your preferred approach to supervisory and user training and make arrangements for pre and post-implementation courses.
